Tianci materials said that the main reasons why the company adjusted its net profit target this time were: 1. The sales volume and sales proportion of carbomer's high gross profit products of the daily chemical materials and special chemicals business division increased, the product structure was optimized, and the gross profit margin increased; 2. In the first half of the year, the sales volume of lithium-ion battery electrolyte products increased, the self production rate of raw materials increased, and the gross profit margin increased.

In addition, in terms of production capacity, at present, Tianci materials has a capacity of 50000 tons / year of electrolyte, 30000 tons / year of liquid lithium hexafluorophosphate and 2000 tons / year of solid lithium hexafluorophosphate; At the same time, the project under construction of the company with an annual output of 150000 tons of lithium battery materials includes a 60000 ton / year liquid lithium hexafluorophosphate production line, which is expected to be completed by the end of next year.

 

In terms of lithium iron phosphate, Yichun Tianci lithium iron phosphate project, a subsidiary of the company, currently has a capacity of 5000 tons / year.

 

In terms of iron phosphate, the company's annual output of 30000 tons of battery grade iron phosphate material project has been completed in December 2019, and is currently in the stage of capacity climbing.

 

In April this year, Tianci materials also announced that it would invest 289million yuan to build an annual output of 100000 tons of electrolyte project in Ningde, Fujian, to meet the needs of customers such as Ningde times for electrolyte.

 

It is worth noting that although Tianci materials revealed that its net profit increased significantly in the first half of the year, benefiting from the increase in sales of lithium battery materials, electrolyte products, and the increase in the self production rate of raw materials, it is not only this that contributed to the sharp increase in the performance of Tianci materials in the first half of the year.

 

Since this year, the global outbreak of COVID-19 has driven the sales of disinfection and sterilization products, especially the disposable hand sanitizer used for hand sterilization when going out, which has become a hot commodity for a time. As one of the ingredients of disposable hand sanitizer, Carbomer's demand and price have increased exponentially.

 

According to Tianci materials, the production capacity of the company's carbomer products is about 5000 tons / year. From the previous sales volume, the annual sales volume is about 2000 tons. In January this year, its sales volume was 39 tons, which increased significantly to 356 tons in February, and further increased to 411 tons in March. The capacity utilization rate reached 95%, while the average capacity utilization rate in the three years from 2017 to 2019 was only 45%. "In previous years, the revenue of carbomer products accounted for about 4% of the company's total revenue, and it is expected to account for about 20% in the first half of this year," according to Tianci materials.
